Know that the mind is already conquered, since in reality it does not exist: a rock that does not exist at all is as good as long since removed from close by. He, O Rāma, of evil understanding, by whom the mind -- unreal though it is -- has not been conquered: he dies of the swoon of poison without ever having swallowed poison.
