संज्ञार्थं रूढनियतिशब्दः स्फुरति सानुवत् ।तस्माद्यावन्मनस्तावन्न दैवं नियतिर्न च

For the sake of designation the well-worn word ‘niyati’ shines forth, solid as a mountain-ridge. Therefore, so long as there is manas, there is neither daiva nor niyati.
