In plain words

The throb is indeed only of the powers of wind; awareness belongs to the great Consciousness; old age and death belong to this body - who then is this one that stands as 'I'? Flesh is one thing, blood another, bones yet another, O citta; awareness is one thing, and the throb of movement another - who then is this one that stands as 'I'? This is the nose, this the tongue, this the skin, these the two ears; this is the eye, that is touch - who then is this one that stands as 'I'?
