If I say, ‘I, who am Brahman, do not know myself,’ then who is this ‘I’? If you answer that it is the mind or intellect, that too disappears in the darkness of sleep. Yet I do not disappear. The Awareness that remains full and deathless through that absence—that am I, that am I.
