In deep sleep and in cosmic dissolution the projected worlds disappear, yet who has thereby become free from saṃsāra? Projection can be resolved; it is the dense veil of ignorance that prevents liberation. Until that veil is destroyed by Knowledge, disappearance of appearances alone is not freedom.
