। तु ॥
In plain words
O Blessed One, the young leaf and this foot of yours are by nature alike in softness and in red. Yet the wise, O Kāmākṣī, see this difference in their hearts: the leaf's desire is always for the forest, vane; the foot's is for the protection of the worlds, avane.
Word for word
By nature mutually the sprout and this your foot, by softness, by redness, O Bhagavatī, hold similarity; in vana of the former the wish always, in avana, however, of the worlds, of the latter; thus the difference flashes in the heart, O Kāmākṣī, of the wise.
