। ॥
In plain words
O Goddess Kāmākṣī, may the fall of your sidelong glance dance upon me. Though dark, it kindles great love, red love, in Śiva, the foe of the cities; though unsteady, it makes people's devotion firm; though crooked, it spreads evenness of mind among those who bow.
Word for word
Dark though, rāga (red, love) much producing of Pura's foe; unsteady though, devotion greater firming of men; crooked though, Devī, of the bowed sameness spreading, Kāmākṣī, may dance on me your eye-corner-fall.
