In plain words
O Mother Kāmākṣī, let milk keep its distance. How could it sit in the same class as your lovely gentle smiles because of whiteness alone? There is this difference too: the one comes only by milking, while the other of itself pours out in plenty whatever those who bow have wished for.
Word for word
Milk far indeed let stand; how from mere whiteness this, Mother, your fellow-student-row may go with the gentle smiles lovely? Moreover this indeed difference is: by milking the one but arises; Kāmākṣī, of itself wished of the bowing the other but yields abundantly.
