आम्नायाभ्यसनान्यरण्यरुदितं वेदव्रतान्यन्वहंमेदश्छेदफलानि पूर्तविधयः सर्वे हुतं भस्मनि ।तीर्थानामवगाहनानि च गजस्नानं विना यत्पद-द्वन्द्वाम्भोरुहसंस्मृतीः विजयते देवस्स नारायणः ॥ २५ ॥
In plain words
Without remembrance of his two lotus feet, the study of the Vedas is weeping in the wilderness, the daily Vedic vows bring nothing but the loss of fat, every work of public merit is an offering poured on ashes, and bathing at holy places is an elephant's bath. Victory to that God, Nārāyaṇa!
