In plain words
The void and the rest would be joined with the properties of sovereignty if, while clung to as “I”, it gave up being a . Were it so, its too, blue and the rest, would not shine as set apart from it at all. But in fact the void and the rest, which was called a , is a only so far as it is a of a , blue and the rest, taken to be set apart from its own form; and just so far it is itself a while being a . For a is bounded just because it is measured; so it is rightly set apart from another of the same kind. But what is in form is not so, since it is without bounds. And the boundedness of the I-ness of the void and the rest is itself the five that begin with . Consider: , laying out sequence, unfolds in the and, following that, spreads into the too. Holding in awareness the self, in the form of the body, as though it had sequence, “I who was thin am now stout, and I shall be stouter”, it brings to light a sequence in the form of past and the rest in the that goes along with it too. For this void and the rest, which is insentient, , whose form is opening out a knowing of some things, sorts out the mass of things, blue, pleasure and the rest, that has passed into the mirror of . , made of strengthening a doing of some things, brings forth the effect: “I know something; I do something.” And here, though being “some” is the same in each part, in the matter of “why just this something?”, is at work, in the form of clinging, as though made of laying qualities and the like on the , the body and the rest, and on the . And it is not just the lack of that lies in ; for that is gross, and would not even be found in an old man towards a young woman, yet is there all the same. And clinging is seen among the eight properties of too. The question “why clinging to this alone?” is ruled by . So, woven through and through by , , , and , robbed by of all his wealth of sovereignty, and given back again only a share from the midst of that whole store, this bounded shines thus: “I am the one who now knows this something, who does this, who is drawn to this and to this alone.” And sometimes these have different objects, as when one drawn to one thing is made by to do another. And these shine only as clinging to the ; so they are forms of that ’s own , different for each . But sometimes, at a show of dancers or wrestlers and the like, they would even become one, by the will of the Lord. For these have no life of their own apart from the will of the Lord, as has been said more than once and will be said again.
It was said, “a with respect to a set apart”, “this”: about that, he shows that :
The , which is of twenty-three kinds and made of effects and instruments, has one root cause, , whose form is undivided.
