In plain words

Since liberation comes from right knowledge of the nature of this very one, and saṃsāra from wrong knowledge of it, he says, to analyse its nature in fine detail: And he is one, of two forms, made of three, fourfold in self, and of the nature of the seven pentads. By the view already settled, Lord Śiva, whose self is cit, is the one Self, and there is no other: prakāśa cannot be divided by space, time and the rest, and what is insentient cannot be a perceiver. Since prakāśa itself, by its freedom, takes on the contraction of prāṇa and the rest and becomes the perceiver of contracted objects, he is of two forms: he has the form of prakāśa, and he has the appearance of contraction. He is made of three, being covered by the āṇava, māyīya and kārma malas. He is fourfold in self, having the nature of void, prāṇa, puryaṣṭaka and body. The seven pentads are the thirty-five tattvas from Śiva down to earth; he has their nature. So too he has the nature of the seven knowers, from Śiva to the sakala; and though in form he is the powers of cit, ānanda, will, knowledge and action, through the power of non-appearing he is wrapped in the sheaths kalā, vidyā, rāga, kāla and niyati, and so has the nature of the pentad. And so, when he is recognised as being of one form with Śiva, as made of the thirty-five tattvas, as having the nature of the seven knowers, and as being the five powers beginning with cit, he gives liberation; otherwise he is the cause of saṃsāra.
