In plain words

Just as in this way the rising of the world is from the unbarred freedom of the Lord alone, so from that very freedom the turning back of saṃsāra is fitting: considering this, he prays to the Supreme Lord Himself to gain the knowledge that makes māyā disappear: Come, O Hara, the swan, give us the knowledge of Śiva, milked by You Yourself, drawn up well from the belly of the waters of māyā and made clear. O ‘Hara, the swan’, whose true nature has been explained! ‘Come’, that is, be face to face, rise up by setting aside the stage of the body and the rest; and therefore, even in the state of emergence, knowledge of this kind, whose form is the highest good, ‘this universe is Śiva alone’, ‘give’ ‘us’, that is, make it take root in our mind. As the Śruti says: “May that mind of mine have Śiva as its resolve.” So it is said. Of what kind is it? From the ‘water’ that belongs to māyā, whose form is non-recognition, that is, the inert, under the sway of being bounded by kalā and the rest, whose essence is the cognition of difference, from its ‘belly’, that is, its middle, ‘drawn up well’, that is, opened forth by the means of melting away the limited sense of I; ‘made clear’, that is, brought to a purity whose form is that the latent traces of non-recognition have melted away; and for this very reason ‘milked by You Yourself’, that is, drawn out and brought by You alone, worthy of praise for Your skill. The swan is clever at taking the milk from milk and water: this is the meaning by resonance.
