In plain words

And therefore: Above the highest goods, this alone is the highest good: the abiding that is in You. For taking away what stands in its way, You, O Lord, are my refuge. ‘Above’ all ‘the highest goods’, whose form is the attaining of Īśvara, Sadāśiva and Śiva, that is, as excelling them, this alone is ‘the highest good’, that is, the auspicious: this ‘abiding’, that is, rest, ‘in You’, dense with cit and ānanda. And then, the obstacles in that highest good, that is, the touches of non-recognition of You that rise up again and again in its midst, ‘for taking them away’, that is, for their destruction, O ‘Lord’, that is, Master, You alone are ‘my refuge’. Act so that at the time of emergence non-recognition never at any time touches me: that is the meaning.
