यद्वै तन्न रसयति रसयन् वै तन्न रसयति ।न हि रसयितू रसयतेर्विपरिलोपो विद्यतेऽविनाशित्वात् ।न तु तद्द्वितीयमस्ति ततोऽन्यद्विभक्तं यद्रसयेत् ॥बृह. ४,३.२५ ॥

And when it is said that he does not taste, he is tasting though he does not taste; for there is no cessation of the tasting of the taster, since he is indestructible. But there is no second thing, separate from him, which he could taste.
