सा चेदस्मै न दद्यात्काममेनामवक्रिणीयात् ।सा चेदस्मै नैव दद्यात्काममेनां यष्ट्या वा पाणिना वोपहत्यातिक्रामेत् ।इन्द्रियेन ते यशसा यश आदद इति ।अयशा एव भवति ॥६,४.७ ॥
In plain words
If she will not consent, let him buy her over with gifts. And if she still will not consent, let him — striking her as he wishes with a stick or with his hand — pass beyond her, saying, "With vigour and glory I take away thy glory." And so she becomes without glory.
