In plain words
"I am a season, I am born of the seasons, sprung from the womb of space as the seed. I am the light of the year, the being of what has been, the being of the self. Thou art that self. What thou art, that am I." Brahman says to him, "Who am I?" He should say, "The real." "What is that which is real?" "What is other than the gods and the breaths, that is being; and what is the gods and the breaths, that is the yon. This is uttered by the word satyam — that much is all this, and all this thou art." So he tells him then. This is said in a verse: "He whose belly is the Yajus, whose head is the Sāman, whose form is the Ṛc, is imperishable. He is to be known as Brahman, the seer, made of Brahman, the great." Brahman says to him, "By what dost thou obtain my masculine names?" He should say, "By the breath." "By what the feminine names?" "By speech." "By what the neuter names?" "By the mind." "By what the odours?" "By the nose," he should say. "By what the forms?" "By the eye." "By what the sounds?" "By the ear." "By what the savours of food?" "By the tongue." "By what actions?" "By the two hands." "By what pleasure and pain?" "By the body." "By what delight and love and offspring?" "By the organ of generation." "By what movement?" "By the two feet." "By what thoughts, and what is to be known, and desires?" "By wisdom," he should say. Brahman says to him, "The waters are indeed mine, and that world is thine." Whatever conquest is Brahman's, whatever attainment, that conquest he conquers and that attainment he attains, who knows thus — who knows thus.
