In plain words
Understanding spreads out the sacrifice, and it spreads out works as well. All the gods worship understanding as Brahman, the eldest. If a man knows understanding as Brahman, and does not stray from it, he leaves behind his evils in the body and attains all his desires. This is the bodily self of the former one. Other than this self made of understanding, and within it, is a self made of bliss, by which the former is filled. That too has the shape of a person: after the shape of that one it has the shape of a person. Its head is the dear, its right side joy, its left side great joy, its trunk bliss, and its tail, its foundation, Brahman. On this too there is a verse.
