In plain words

In the cave of the heart-flower, as its very inwardness, the Lord shines; scripture praises Him by the name Guhesa, Lord of the cave. Now hold this: that Guhesa is myself — He am I. Notice how effortlessly certain you already are that you are this body; no one taught you, no one had to convince you. Let practice make the other certainty just as unforced, until you simply stand as that God. Then the belief 'I am this body that decays' will itself decay — the way darkness goes when the red-rayed sun is simply there.

Word for word

The Lord who shines as the very inside of the cave of the heart-flower, He who is praised precisely as 'Guhesa' — the contemplation 'that same Guhesa am I, so'ham' — if, by the force of practice, one abides as that God just as firm as the conviction 'I' that constantly inheres in your body, then the ignorance which says 'I am the perishing body' will perish like darkness before the red-rayed sun, will it not?
