In plain words
Since that is so — therefore:
'Having restrained' all these senses, having actually brought them under control, disciplined, composed — one should remain 'with Me as the supreme.' I, Vāsudeva, am the one inward Self of every being, the highest; and someone for whom that is true is said to have 'Me as the supreme.' He should simply abide in this: 'I am not other than That.' That is the meaning. For a striver who remains established like this, whose senses stay under control through the sheer strength of sustained practice, his wisdom becomes firmly established.

Since (yataḥ) — therefore (tasmāt) —
'Having restrained' — having performed the restraint, the subjugation of — 'all those' [senses], 'disciplined,' composed, being so, 'one should remain' 'having Me as the supreme' — I, Vāsudeva, the inward Self of all, am the supreme, of whom [that is true]; he is 'having Me as the supreme' — [thinking] 'I am not other than That,' thus one should remain: such is the meaning. Of the striver thus abiding, whose senses indeed remain under control by the strength of practice, his wisdom is established. [End of commentary on verse 61.]
