In plain words
Some offer material possessions, some tapas, some yoga; others, disciplined and firm in their vows, offer study and jñāna as yajña.
Word for word
Others likewise [are] those whose yajña is wealth, whose yajña is tapas, whose yajña is yoga, and whose yajña is study and knowledge: strivers of sharpened vows.

'Sacrificers with substance' are those who give wealth at holy places with the spirit of sacrifice. 'Sacrificers of austerity' are the ascetics for whom austerity itself is their sacrifice. 'Sacrificers of yoga' are those for whom yoga — breath-control, withdrawal of the senses, and the like — is their sacrifice. In the same way, others are sacrificers of study, for whom the prescribed recitation of the Ṛgveda and the rest is their sacrifice; and 'sacrificers of knowledge' are those for whom knowledge — full comprehension of what scripture means — is their sacrifice. All of them are ascetics of steady, disciplined effort, and 'of well-honed vows': vows properly sharpened, refined, made keen.

'Sacrificers with substance' — those who, at holy places, perform the giving of wealth with the notion of sacrifice, they are the sacrificers with substance. 'Sacrificers of austerity' — austerity is the sacrifice of those ascetics; they are the sacrificers of austerity. 'Sacrificers of yoga' — yoga characterized by breath-control, withdrawal of the senses, and the like is the sacrifice of those; they are the sacrificers of yoga. Likewise, others are sacrificers of study and sacrificers of knowledge — study, the prescribed practice of the Ṛgveda and the rest, is the sacrifice of those; they are the sacrificers of study. 'Sacrificers of knowledge' — knowledge, the full comprehension of scripture's meaning, is the sacrifice of those; they are the sacrificers of knowledge, and ascetics of habitual disciplined effort, and 'of well-honed vows' — vows properly sharpened, refined, made keen, of those; they are of well-honed vows.
Gītā Vāhini· Prabodha 10 · Passage 4

“Those whose citta journeys one way while the senses go another fall from both. So keep far from the fault called attachment. Do this, and your citta will make its firm dwelling in Jñāna. Then whatever you do will be yajña itself; whatever you speak will stand as a divine mantra; wherever you set foot, that place will turn into a holy place. Brother-in-law! I shall tell you something about yajñas too; with a calm mind, stilling the citta-vṛttis, listen. In the world some perform dravya-yajña, others tapo-yajña, and still others yoga-yajña, svādhyāya-yajña and what is called Jñāna-yajña: yajñas of many kinds. All the holy, meritorious deeds that can be done with wealth are called ‘dravya-yajña’. Wealth has three possible courses: dāna, enjoyment and loss. When wealth is used for dāna and for enjoyment, loss is avoided, is it not? Now suppose a well is dug in one place: however big the pit dug there, all that earth lies heaped up in one place, does it not? Where there is a pit, there cannot fail to be a heap. If wealth keeps piling up, heap upon heap, in one place, shortfalls and wants will keep appearing in another.
Gītā Vāhini· Prabodha 10 · Passage 6

“Next, when mind, speech and body are used for the sādhanas of Dharma, that becomes ‘tapo-yajña’. If a man goes to bed hungry because the body could get no food, does that become tapas? No. Subduing the citta-vṛttis is called ‘yoga’; doing all karmas and yet not being caught in the bonds of karma is called ‘yoga’. The sādhana that fixes the Manas on God is ‘yoga’. And ‘svādhyāya’ means reading the śāstras of Mokṣa with Bhakti and śraddhā, with humility, reverent fear and faith. By these the debt to the ṛṣis is paid off. Through it, not only is merit gained; sin is destroyed. Next comes ‘Jñāna-yajña’. This is not aparokṣa Jñāna; it is parokṣa Jñāna in the form of sādhana. One must hear with śraddhā and read the śāstras that bear on these, and carry out manana with reasoning of every kind. This is not Jñāna in its accomplished form. It is this that is called ‘Jñāna-yajña’. The longing to carry out inquiry into the Ātma through the elders and to know the Ātma-tattva is called Jñāna; it is called Jñāna-yajña. One must perform the prescribed karmas that are one's duty.”
