In plain words
There is nothing here so purifying as jñāna. One perfected in yoga discovers that jñāna for oneself within Ātma in due time.
Word for word
For no purifier equal to jñāna exists here; one perfected by yoga finds that himself, in time, in himself.

Bhagavadgītābhāṣyam
In plain words
Since this is how it stands, therefore —
Nothing here is knowledge's equal. Nothing else cleanses like it, nothing else actually makes a person clean. And that knowledge — the one perfected by yoga finds it. Perfected means: brought to completion by the yoga of action and the yoga of absorption, polished, made fit for it. Such a person, wanting only freedom, after a long stretch of time, finds that knowledge in his own self. He obtains it there. That is the meaning.
Close to the Sanskrit
Since thus, therefore —
For indeed nothing equal to, on a par with, knowledge — purifying, cleansing, purity-producing — is found here. That knowledge one who is yoga-perfected — perfected, that is, refined by yoga, by karma-yoga and by samādhi-yoga, having attained fitness — being a seeker of liberation, after a great length of time, finds, obtains, in his own self. Such is the meaning.
Gītā Vāhini· Whoever One May Be, One Cannot Escape Doing Karma

In the śāstra of the Bhagavad Gītā, a priceless gem shines as ‘Jñāna Yoga’. He has said, “Truly, there is nothing here as pure as Jñāna.” Moreover, in the seventh chapter too, He said, “But the jñāni is My very Self, I hold.” In this same way, in many places, He has declared the excellence of Jñāna Yoga. That is why Jñāna Yoga must be regarded as the goal of spiritual sādhana. All the śāstras come to their end in Jñāna. In anusandhāna on the svarūpa that is Jñāna, what remains is oneself alone. Everything is in oneself, and in oneself is everything. Knowing by inquiry into tattva: that is Jñāna. Whether one does karmas or gives them up is not what matters. The body, Manas, Buddhi, citta and the rest: no activity of the senses belongs to the ‘Ātma’.
Gītā Vāhini· Asti Bhāti Priyam
In plain words
“Na hi jñānena sadṛśaṃ”: there is nothing else equal to Jñāna. That which carries one across the ocean of saṃsāra and grants the ‘supreme attainment’ is what is called “Jñāna”. This Jñāna, too, is of two kinds. The first is called “Viṣaya Jñāna”, and the second “Abheda Jñāna”. That is, the first is worldly; the second is the Vijñāna of Brahman and Ātma expressed in “Ahaṃ brahmāsmi”, and this is what is called Abheda Jñāna. It is beginningless. It removes the fear of saṃsāra, makes man fearless in his very svarūpa, and leads him into the ‘attainment of Brahman’. It stands as the witness to the Buddhi, and so its name is “Samyak Jñāna”.
