Bhagavadgītābhāṣyam

In plain words

Seeing how hard this yoga is to bring about — the yoga just described, the one whose mark is right seeing — Arjuna wanted to hear a sure way to reach it, and said:

The yoga you have just set out, Madhusūdana — set out as sameness, which is to say as evenness of mind — of that yoga I do not see, I cannot lay hold of, because the mind will not stay still. Cannot lay hold of what? A steady state — steady meaning one that does not stir at all. || 33 ||

Close to the Sanskrit

Having observed the hard-to-accomplish nature of this yoga as stated, whose defining mark is right seeing, Arjuna, wishing to hear a sure means of attaining it, said —

This yoga which was spoken by you through sameness — [that is,] through evenness — O Madhusūdana: of this yoga I do not see, [that is,] I do not obtain, because of the restlessness of the mind. Do not see what? The steady — [that is,] the unmoving — state. || 33 ||
