In plain words

Tell me in detail, O Janārdana, of your own yoga — that particular power of your sovereignty — and of your glory, the whole vast sweep of things worth contemplating. You are called Janārdana from the root 'ard,' meaning to drive or set in motion, either because you drive the demons — the very opponents of the gods — toward ruin, or because all people turn to you, begging for the true goals of life: worldly flourishing and final freedom. Tell me again, even what you have already told me — because I simply cannot get enough, listening to this nectar of words flowing straight from your mouth.

Close to the Sanskrit

In detail, of the Self, the yoga — the particular power of yogic lordship — and the manifestation, the expanse of the objects worthy of meditation, O Janārdana — from the root 'ard,' whose meaning is motion, is the form; because of causing to go to hell and the like the demons, who are the opponents of the gods, the people — hence Janārdana; or, because the purpose that is the human goals of prosperity and liberation is entreated by all people — [hence Janārdana]. Tell again even what was already said; for there is no satisfaction, contentment, of me, of me while listening, in the nectar of speech flowing out from your mouth.
