In plain words

'Wasting away' means causing to waste: they starve the body's own collection of organs, the whole array housed within it -- senseless people, without any real discernment -- and they waste Me too, right there, dwelling within that same body as the silent witness of its every thought and act -- Narayana Himself, wasted away by them; because failing to live by My teaching is itself what it means to waste Me. Know such people, Arjuna, to have a demonic resolve -- meaning, their very conviction is demonic -- know them, so that you may keep away from them. That is the teaching here.

Close to the Sanskrit

'Emaciating' -- causing to become emaciated -- the group of elements residing in the body, i.e. the collection of organs -- the senseless, the undiscriminating -- and Me too, indeed, present within the body as the witness of the intellect and actions of that [body] -- Narayana -- emaciating [Me]; the non-performance of My ordinance is itself 'the emaciation of Me.' Know those [people] to be of demonic resolve -- 'demonic resolve' [means] those whose resolve is demonic; know them, for the purpose of avoiding them -- this is the instruction.
