“There is no sin, no misconduct, no adharma that the Kauravas have not committed. They dishonoured their elders; they spurned the good; they humiliated chaste wives; they persecuted those devoted to Dharma; they did such things past all counting. For such men the hour of destruction has drawn near. If at such a moment you turn coward, you will bring disgrace on the parents who bore you, on the brothers born with you, and, why say more, on the whole kṣatriya clan.”
