In this there is a point that everyone must consider; it is most essential. Namely: in the world some people stir up agitation, saying, “Om, that is, Praṇava, may be uttered by these people alone; by those people alone may it be uttered.” This is a great mistake. In truth, such people do not understand the matter; they are people who hold to mere belief alone as the chief thing.
