If you inquire into the inner meaning of each discipline and observance, learn it and then practise it, you gain its fruit; but for show, for name and fame, for making money, the worship of pictures, the installing of images, the building of temples, the keeping of vratas. All these are meaningless, every one. These people have none of them rightly understood God.
