In plain words
You must develop to the full the faith that the God you worship is in everyone. In you too that very God is present, as the One who dwells within. The feeling that all your actions are offered to Him alone, and that this itself is His worship, must become firm. Then life goes on as a constant vigil, a constant fast. Hardship, loss, worry, grief: all of them vanish. No one in the world has come to ruin by trusting; if you plant Prema for God in the field of the heart and tend it, you reap the harvest called Ānanda.

His life was filled with anguish and filled with a longing he could not bear.
