In plain words

If you call to mind even a little, this much or that, of God's infinite power and of the special features of His play and His hosts of qualities, and dwell on them with Ānanda, then Bhakti and śraddhā toward God arise; reverence for God's creation grows; you come to know that all beings are parts of God; a feeling of Prema toward them is born. Through that Prema you can climb the ladder of Bhakti step by step, win God's grace and cross over.

But, not recognising the principle of Prema, falling into the net of kāma, becoming slaves to their desires, and coming under the sway of krodha, which comes along as kāma's companion, men are turning into demons.
