The people who take this very name even for such imitations, setting out to become Sathya Sai Babas, are pests that destroy faith itself in the Paramātma! And some devotees too have become, for these men, the patched quilt that suits the sack, and are ruining their own lives. There is every reason to say that these imitations are like monkeys that ruin themselves and ruin the grove as well.
You need not roam here and there after this one and that one, crying, ‘God! God!’ A heart full of compassion is itself the temple of God; there is no need to scramble after gurus. He whose form is the world is Himself that One of beautiful form. Nature is the best preacher; Life is the best teacher. The world itself is a good guide for you; life itself is your finest guru.
