In plain words
Our ways may indeed look somewhat like displays and signs, but in the principle that is, the truth within the two of them stays one and the same. In the same way, we must set about recognising a sacred excellence in this Bhakti of Rādhā; to misuse her principle in misunderstanding and set about reviling her path is a great sin. With a citta wholly offered, she clung to Kṛṣṇa's heart alone, became like one intoxicated, and dedicated her sacred life to it. Such offered cittas may be women, may be men, whoever they are; the name Rādhā belongs to dhara, not to one person. In that, the very form of Dharmārtha is the shape of Rādhā. Here is a small example of this. Whether we speak in Telugu or in English, in any language some sounds come together. Let us take the four letters of the word Rādhā. RADA has become Rādhā. When it starts from R, it reads as “Rādhā”. When it starts from A, it becomes “ādhār”. Starting from D, it becomes “dhara”. Starting from the other A, it becomes “ārādh”. So the support of Rādhā is dhārā ārādhana itself. “Dhārā ārādhana itself is the support of Rādhā,” they said. “Sarvadā sarvakāleṣu sarvatra hari cintanaṃ”: worshipping ceaselessly in all places and at all times is itself the mark of Rādhā. So whoever sets about such an effort, all of them truly belong to the principle of Rādhā. But to reach that sacred state, we must make a fitting effort, with the gross body, with the subtle mind, with the causal citta, to join this together, put it in order and make it sacred in many kinds of good deeds, good conduct, good thoughts, good contemplation and satsaṅga. Here is a small example of this. There is a clock over there now. Three hands are turning in it. One of them is the seconds, the second is the minutes, the third the hours. Now, the second hand turns fast. However fast this second hand turns, the minute hand moves only one place. When the second hand has gone round sixty houses, this minute hand turns only one house. And when the minute hand turns sixty houses, the hour hand reaches only one house. But we see the second hand and the minute hand turning; we do not see this hour hand turning at all.
