In plain words

They have spoken of this very thing as three paths. You are in the light. The light is in you. You are the light. So first you must become a part of the world. Then you must take that light called the world into yourself. At the very last, you yourself must become that world. So, making changes of this kind in ourselves, we must recognise the truth that this Prakṛti is because of us, and not we because of Prakṛti. If we ourselves are not, there is no Prakṛti at all. So Prakṛti is because of us; we are not because of Prakṛti. Many people think in many ways. Many teach that man needs food. But My view is this: man was not born for the sake of food. Food came into being for the sake of man. So man must keep this truth well in mind: once he is born food is needed, but man was not born for the sake of food. In the same way, we have come in several ways: to set the world right, to establish Dharma, to search for Satya, to proclaim Satya. The right path is to keep that as the goal and to regard all the rest as subsidiary for us. So if we were born for the sake of food, what is the fate of those who give up the body even while there is food in the world? What is the condition of those who live on in this world even when there is no food? So we did not come for the sake of food; we came for the sake of the Ātma. This body, which came for the sake of the Ātma, has come to need food. That is all it is; if we have no car at all, no one looks for petrol. Then why the car? We bought this car in order to travel to some places or other. If we had no need of a car at all, we would not pour out precious money there and take a car. A man who has paid thousands of rupees for a car, if he does not know the very method, how to start that precious car, how to drive it, how to keep it clean, becomes one who has misused his money and the thing itself. In the same way, gathering the wealth of merit from many births, we have received this chariot called the body. How should we use this chariot? How should we keep this chariot in proper condition?
