Passage 3

Tap any word for its meaning.

In plain words

Not a naya paisa at all is spent on this. You can say that nowhere in the world is there such right use as is made at Prasanthi Nilayam.

There is no doubt at all in declaring firmly that Prasanthi Nilayam demonstrates only what is exemplary, for this world and the next, in Kaivalya, in morals, in material things, in Dharma, in the spirit, in worldly life and in politics too, and that it cannot give the least room to anything harmful.

Embodiments of the divine Ātma! If you simply have the wish to give some charity, there is no objection at all to your taking part in such sacred work, in matters of education, in matters of health or among the poor, letting your mind grow larger.

Not here alone. Wherever it may be, the members of our organisations must stand fully ready to help the poor, to help students and to give the sick the help they need. Work of that very kind you must regard as My work.

I have no … at all. There is no objection whatever to your taking part in the works of Dharma, for the good of others …, that take place in institutions like these, and so making your birth worthwhile.

This is something all of you know: I do not let so much as one fruit, one flower or one coconut be brought in here at all. But some people, out of their own prapatti, their excitement and their enthusiasm, keep bringing Me clothes, by post or after they arrive here. From this day on, it is My command that no one is to bring those either! You must take this as a great command and keep it. If anyone does bring them, they are not taken into Prasanthi Nilayam; and we shall look on those people as none other than ones who have gone against Swami's command. What you must give Me is your pure Prema. So, hoping that from this day on you will make your lives worthwhile in karmas done for the good of others, and blessing you, I bring My talk to a close.
