In plain words
Partly out of fear, partly out of humility, there is a chance for them to follow a more orderly path. So, from today, the Bal Vikas gurus, their own problems and difficulties. If they write the address of the centre, that is, ‘Convenor, Prasanthi Nilayam, Bal Vikas Gurus.’, and post it, I shall see to everything here. Below that they must write copy to world council secretary and send it to Indulal Shah. So there is no room at all for others to make these changes or any additions. It must happen from the one centre alone. Telling tales against one another, or out of jealousy cooking up things that never were: none of this must happen among our Bal Vikas gurus. When any mistakes happen, we must exercise restraint among ourselves. We must set things right among ourselves. On the day we achieve self-restraint, on that very day we become worthy of grace.
Bal Vikas gurus must foster this power of restraint all the more. Only when all of us move together like sisters and brothers do we become fit to teach the pupils. If the pupils come to know that there are differences among us, jealousies among us, then the pupils will not improve in the least. So, from this day on, we must correct the mistakes that have been made before, knowingly or unknowingly, and strive as we should to teach along the right path. If we learn that any ill feeling has arisen between two Bal Vikas gurus, we shall remove both of them. We shall not inquire whose fault it is and who is faultless. We shall remove the two of them. If there is even one such pest, it spreads in many ways. It is because such action was not taken from the start that, with so many gurus, the pupils are few; this is very distressing. Each guru must train a hundred pupils a year. Only then will there be a chance to make 5 lakhs, or even 1 lakh, holy in 1 year. So, in our country there are 9 crores 26 thousand boys and girls. Of what age are they? Under 10 years. Those under 16 years number 22 crores 6 lakhs. In short, half are young people, in our country. If we train only 1 thousand a year, when shall we ever train so many crores? So this is moving at no more than a tortoise's pace. So it must reach a high level quickly.
You are not unaware of the state of the country. The passions of the young, the ambitions of the young, the cleverness of the young are soaring sky-high moment by moment. We must try to bring them down at the very speed at which they are rising. The speed of rising and the speed of bringing down must be kept even. Only then can the world attain Praśānti.
