In plain words
So these teachers must bring the parents of those children together now and then and try to teach them these human values too. Our education in human values trust must make the effort to hold special meetings in some places, not only for teachers but for parents too, and teach them to some extent.
Poor teachers have some small problems too. We may tell Teachers to teach the children well, and everyone else may tell them too. The government too may bring pressure. But in some places teachers get no salaries for six months, for eight months of the year. How can they teach? The poor things are at home with many problems. Win at home, then win in the public square. How can one who cannot win even at home teach children at school? So such problems have not spared teachers. So we must try to recognise their problems. Only when we rightly recognise in this way the duty of teachers, the duty of parents and the duty of the trust, and live together in mutual harmony, can we achieve this to any extent. So I hope that all who are in our institutions develop these human values with due care and make the effort needed to spread them and teach them as far as possible, not only in their personal way but in society too; with this hope, and with My blessing, I bring My talk to a close.
