In plain words
As far as a man is from himself, so far is God from him. That is, oneself does not mean this body. At whatever level a man keeps the feeling "I", God is with him at the matching level. Who is it that says this "I"? The body? No, no. The body is inert. So this inert body cannot say "I". Then if you ask whether the Ātma says "I": the Ātma has taken the form of oneness, so there is no second thing at all. So the Ātma too is not saying it. So this "I" comes in between the body and the Ātma, joins the two and vanishes. Having joined them, it is no longer seen. This is the result that came after five crores of enquiry. So this joining is something every human being, the atheist, the believer, the theist, the believing atheist, all of them, must know. So there is not one person who says that he himself does not exist. In the world. We must recognise that to recognise one's own principle is true spirituality.
