In plain words
The production of these goods must go by the needs of the people and the use of the people. Inside big, big factories there are faults of many kinds. A business carried on recklessly, without morality and honesty, may prosper today or tomorrow, but some day or other they come to a fall. The management win over the company directors. They keep giving them all the salary they want. Then they turn into a rubber stamp for these managers. They do not tell them their faults or their situation in the right way. Whoever points out the defects of the management, he alone is truly exemplary. Today in companies there are more directors who lead the management astray. In some factories they behave in a shameful way. Here they set up certain bodies they call societies. They take politicians into them. They give them a place in the advertisements. They make a big advertisement of a worthless thing. Through this the atmosphere in society changes completely. There is also what is called the workers' union. They act with a kind of narrow mind. First of all we must recognise what union means. Union means all being joined together. In what must they be joined? They must be joined in what is good. Today that is not to be seen at all. If some worker does wrong and the manager dismisses him, the union people all go on strike. The other workers there must see the situation clearly. If it is truly a wrong, you must certainly punish that worker. If instead the union itself helps the worker who did wrong, wrongdoers will multiply. There must be a punishment fit for the wrong. Without such punishment this business will fall altogether. So we must take note of this subtle point too. But today people who recognise this and act on it are nowhere to be seen. What they study is one thing, what they follow is another. In our classes the teachers teach in many ways, and we write it all down, but it is not to be seen in practice. The children of our Institute must try to put into practice what they have studied and what they have believed to be true.
