In plain words
He who cannot manage the human mind, what can he do in the outer world?
Only he who manages man's mind is a true manager. Now there is no way even to manage man's mind. He who cannot do that, what can he do in the world outside? Their aim lies only in achieving outward, physical, worldly progress. What suits society, what develops right individuality in society, what is the use of this thing, what good is coming to the world from it: they do not consider this at all. Start some business or other, earn piles of money: this alone is their aim. ‘Cotton is growing all round our village; we will start a cotton factory here,’ a man thinks. This is only a limited knowledge! One must look into the surroundings there. Only if there is moisture in the air can one start a cotton factory there. Without it, when you draw thread from this cotton, it all snaps in the wind. In the same way, when we set up business houses, we must take into account the climate in those parts too. Not only the natural climate, but people's mental climate too! Not only that: we must take into account finance, production, all such matters. We must take up business communication too. How to speak with whom, how to carry on correspondence, how to behave with the workers, how we should show our manners: all these are business communication! We must take this communication and the environment into account with great care. In other countries they do not keep to this so much. A small example. In America they show advertisements on videos, on TV, on big, big screens. They have no judgement as to whether society needs those things or not. Plenty of money must come in, that is all! They advertise drugs on television. Not only that, they make a big advertisement about toilet paper. Their aim is that plenty of money must come in, that they must become millionaires; only that much! This is not right.
