In plain words
Everything is Brahman itself. There is no other object apart from Brahman. When everything is full of Brahman, where is our searching, and where is His being found?
When the whole universe is the temple of the Lord of life, where is the street door? When the whole universe is a temple, what room is left for a street? When there is no street at all, why does it need a door? The Lord of the universe Himself is the Lord of your heart. To pluck the strings of the vīṇā, reach into the strings of life and, with tears of Ānanda, offer up the self: that is Vaikuṇṭha. That is Divinity. God has gone on handing us His treasures and His wealth along a path that suits us. You are all heirs to that wealth. But you must try to recognise what that wealth is.
To the treasures of wealth that Sai has, is there wealth to equal them anywhere at all? If you ask what Sai's wealth is: selfless, eternal, pure Prema; that is the truth, the truth.
Sai's wealth: these buildings, these temples, these are not Sai's wealth. Sai's wealth is selfless, pure, sacred Prema, that one thing alone. That you become heirs to that Prema, that you experience that Prema, that you receive that Prema, and that you proclaim that Prema to the world in the right way: that is your chief duty. What is there that you can offer to God, who is all-pervading, all-knowing and all-powerful? It is only a delusion. For the satisfaction of the mind you go on making so many kinds of offering.
For Him, who holds sway through the whole cosmos, is it possible to build a temple? For Him, whose splendour has the light of ten million suns, who can hold up a lamp in a clay saucer? He is beyond the reach even of Aja, Hara and the rest; whose power is it to discover His form? For Him, who moves in all living beings, is it possible to give a proper name? When the whole cosmos is within His belly, is it fitting to set food and dainties before Him? For the sake of a living they were bound to much suffering.
