Students! Teachers!
In our land of Bhārata, famed as the very birthplace of spiritual wealth, Dharma is wasting away day by day and Adharma is growing, dancing its dance of destruction unchecked; at such a time it is the students who are fit to check it and to bring peace and security to the country. Students! The well-being of the country rests on the students alone. Only when the condition of such students is turned onto the highest path can the country have peace and security. The student's conduct and the strength of the students' minds must be set on the sacred path. For this, a strong body comes first. For this, games, songs and exercise are the right way. In these you must come forward to win, never breaking discipline, on a sacred path and with a sacred feeling. In this world of nature, in this life, we must enquire into the truth of what comes first and what holds everything up. That is the ideal of our life. Even when a man dies, the ideal does not die. It lives on for ever and shines. It is eternal. So we must resolve to give the country such an ideal, eternal, true, everlasting and without end.
