In plain words
When society improves, the country improves. When the country improves, the whole world improves. The nation's progress rests on the individual. This becomes possible only through God's grace. We must foster Bhakti from childhood itself. Seeing our children, outsiders find fault: ‘Hey! Have you gone mad on Sai Baba?’ they say. Do you want to turn into a rowdy, a goonda, and make money? That money is wretched money. It comes and goes like the clouds. It is not permanent. God's grace alone is true wealth. The Prema of God alone is true wealth. That is the wealth we should seek; but today people seek worldly wealth. The mother pours out her own blood to give us birth. So we must repay that debt. We need not pour out our blood; when we offer the body to God, the mother is happy. To offer ourselves to God, they have told us to give up even mother, father, guru, brothers or husband. God alone is the support of all. Forgetting such a God, we cling to a ghost and suffer. Since we were born as human beings, we must grow as human beings, live as human beings, and find our fulfilment as human beings. That itself is divinity. But today man behaves like a beast. ‘Mā-nava’ means: you are not new; you are the old one indeed! ‘Mā-na-va’ means: you are one who has no birth again! ‘Mā’ means ignorance, ‘na’ means without, ‘va’ means conducting oneself. That is, living without ignorance! ‘There is no mother, there is no father,’ they said. But as long as the body lasts, we must serve them. We must see God in everyone. We must experience the oneness of these two. If we want to enjoy Śānti in our last days, we must walk the right path in our daily life. That itself is contemplation of God. You may earn wealth, power and positions in the world. There is nothing wrong in that. But you must regard all of it as for the pleasure of God. You must enjoy them with Prema.
