In plain words
Let all of us work together in harmony. Let us move together in harmony. Let us grow together in harmony. So that we may work together with one another, here a committee is set up for each State, and they can all share out that work and carry it on equally, on the right path.
If there is one State President with five or six people together as a committee, the feeling must form, "This is for my good"; we must never think the bad thought, "They have removed me and put another ten people under me." We have removed the District Presidents; in some Districts things are not going properly. Poor fellow, that district President: to some extent, the charioteering of Śalya. That is, there are some charioteers who bring on weakness, saying to Karṇa, "You cannot do it, you are not able, it is beyond you." That is called the charioteering of Śalya. Such people alone we have removed. We have put in only those who are charioteers like Kṛṣṇa. Even when Arjuna was weak, was afraid, turned back: Chī, chī, you must not go back. "Go forward, go, go, go!": the one who urges him on like this is Kṛṣṇa. You do the work; all of us will be behind you. "We will look after it": the one who gives courage and daring like this is the Kṛṣṇa charioteer. That is, we must be with a charioteering that gives courage and daring, zeal and encouragement. "Why should we bother with this? Perhaps we cannot do this ourselves; we have no money in hand": such cowards, who bring weakness like this, must be removed from this organisation completely. Is there anything a man cannot do? If it is his own work, he will do it to any length; he works day and night. Why should we not use that same care and devotion in this service? We must never put such selfish people, such narrow-minded people, in the organisation at all. The organisation goes to ruin. Only the one who has come and joined with the feeling "This is mine" succeeds in it. But in some districts the District Presidents are doing very well. We must speak of both. They have given up even their own work, entered into this work and are making their time worth while. However their health may go, they think of this as Swami's service and do the work. One can take such district Presidents, one each, and appoint them over two or three districts; since they too need rest, they can keep under them a few people who are needed and do this service. We must not go along with whatever anyone says. If we go that way, we shall be ruined. A small story.
A grandfather and grandson were going to another village, taking a donkey, to fetch some goods. The grandfather was old. The grandson was a little boy.
