In plain words
The body will not fail to go, however you nourish and protect it; loss and growth will not fail to come, though you hide in the great forest.
However long we nourish it, though we sit in an aircondition room, though we live in quarters with every comfort, when this time comes it cannot stay. If growth is truly to come to me, it will come to me even if I am in the forest. So for the protection of this body I will not bind myself in the least to these tricks, to this scheme or to this privilege. However God decides, that is how I will conduct myself," he said. The one who followed these true sayings well and taught them to the people in every way was Aristotle. The one who walked by his command without the slightest deviation was Alexander. In those days, before Jesus came, Aristotle's teachings were spread very widely in Rome. After Jesus came, for some time He went through many kinds of hardship for the service of the people, and later, at the instigation of the government and of the heads of the religious orders, He gave up His body. The body is never permanent. Our possessions are even less permanent. Riches, things, gold, vehicles and the like all only bind us and give us suffering; they do not bring Śānti. In Rome, Jesus was always criticising the rich, condemning the doings of the rich, and labouring in every way to give fitting help to those without wealth.
One day, on His travels, He went for a meal to the house of two sisters named Martha and Mary. "Such a great soul has come to our house": in that joy they took care to provide the food He needed. Mary said, "It is not good to leave a guest who has come to the house alone. You keep talking with Him; I will serve the whole meal well within time," she said. The one who had come to the house was no ordinary man. He was born of a portion of the Divine. If you want to make Him happy, He will rejoice only in deeds done from the heart. Pretence and play-acting are of no use with Him. So, as she made every dish from the heart and with a pure feeling, some time went by. Night was coming on.
In that night time a rich man came to Jesus, thinking, "I must solve my problem without anyone knowing." The teachings He gives are very subtle. Afraid that if all the people saw him they would make fun of him, "Has even so rich a man desires?", this wealthy man entered the house of Martha and Mary at ten o'clock at night, when no one would see.
