In plain words
knowledge is awareness of life. So we must know everything. We must know all of it: the spiritual, the moral and the dharmic. Today the elders go along in only one way. So they fall into unrest. We must understand the spiritual too. We must enter satsaṅga. Only then will our general knowledge grow.
Humanness alone is the touchstone of true education
Embodiments of Prema! None of these things is unknown to you. But I have spoken of them because when we talk them over again and again together, we can learn them. Above all, we must look to the progress of the country. We must develop a broad outlook. We must live in unity. We must keep on growing Prema. But we keep breaking it off. To my mind, there is no other learning, Jñāna or power greater than Prema. Live in Love, Love is GOD. Love is selflessness, Self is lovelessness. We must develop this principle. We sent invitations to no one. Yet what is the reason so many have come here today? Prema alone is the reason. What I want is Prema alone! All are drawn by that very Prema. Prema is a magnet. So, hoping that all of you will help one another and give the young in society the right enthusiasm and encouragement, and blessing you, I bring my discourse to a close. That is true education. Learning gives humility, not Ahaṅkāra. We cannot always oblige, but speak always obligingly. We must follow a path like this. Humanity is the hallmark of real Education. There is no need to hurry over this; we must go calmly and steadily. Dont worry; donot be in a hurry. In Bhārata, every person must become an ideal in this way. Only then can we experience Ānanda in the world.
