In plain words
The Prema of the Paramātma, to the people on the earth, to make it flow: that is the first karma. That every human being is alive and lives on is not for selfish ends; it is for service to society, for doing that alone: with this noble feeling, if one goes through life, good will come. Forgetting even oneself, to the service of man to offer oneself up: that is the contentment of the Ātma. Destroying every narrow feeling, if one does not do good to all people, what is the fruit of being born a man upon the earth? What guru's teaching is there greater than this?
Embodiments of Prema!
Humanness today, regarding itself as ordained merely for some selfish end, keeps forgetting the principle of the Ātma, Satya and eternal. What must come to expression in human life is the feeling of Īśvara. Creation means nothing but the expression of Īśvara's will. That is precisely why it was given the name Prakṛti. In every creature born of this Prakṛti, the power of Īśvara has to be present; it must be present without fail. Man is the very one who has taken form in order to make this principle of Īśvara manifest. The consciousness of Prakṛti is not something useless. When it serves Ahaṅkāra it turns to corruption; when it serves the Ātma it turns to the good.
But to whom, today, must we offer up the consciousness of this Prakṛti? Not to selfishness. Not to our own advantage. We must offer it up to Īśvara. But today, because we keep fostering desires bent on Ahaṅkāra, humanness perishes and turns into the demonic and the animal; we make ourselves forget divinity, move far away from God, and go on living in the demonic. That is why, at every step man takes, Dharma is lost. In every single desire it keeps forgetting the path of progress, which alone is the future. Every desire is turning into greed. Thoughts of human advancement are sinking to the bottom. In man's eyes Prema has died. In man's words Satya has shrunk. Spirituality has become mere show.
