In plain words
It shines more brightly than the radiance of the sun, It surpasses the whiteness of snow, It is subtler by far than the sky, It pervades all living beings; there is nothing on earth that is not Brahman; It moves in all living beings. You are Brahman itself; Brahman is within you; between you and Brahman there is no difference. What more of Vedānta can I tell you than this, you good people of this gathering, counted among the virtuous? I am in the light, I am the light; the light is within me, the light am I. One whose mind holds such Jñāna fast, he himself is Brahman; Brahman itself is he.
Embodiments of the divine Ātma!
The human form of God, God's vehicle or His brilliance and the like, can be recognised only by one who is a human being; others cannot come to know it. So we must recognise the human form itself and honour it. Daivamu mānuṣa rūpeṇa. Taking on a human form, embracing the world and loving the people, God descends in order to bless human beings.
This Prakṛti, all of it, is a ball of fire. Within this ball of fire, in its inner part and its outer part, it fills everything everywhere. In the same way: Antarbāhira tat sarva vyāpya nārāyaṇa sthitaḥ. What is called the principle of God, the principle of the Ātma, the principle of Brahman, is that which pervades everywhere. Īśāvāsyam idaṃ sarvam means that God is the very divine power present in this world, in all objects. Man alone can recognise that Divinity which is present everywhere; others cannot recognise it. A man who tries to recognise it may build for himself some distorted picture, be deluded by that very picture, and imagine that this itself is the truth.
