In plain words
In the Bhagavad Gītā too: adveṣṭā sarva bhūtānāṃ; we must look on everyone as friends. We must cultivate friendship even with our enemies. He gave the fishermen teaching of this kind every day, from daybreak till evening. Following these teachings, growing great faith in Jesus, loving Him, spending their days so, and increasing the fish they needed, they went on living their lives happily
Learning that in this way the fishermen were getting fish in great abundance and earning a great deal, the tax collector Mathew came there. On seeing this tax collector, the fishermen began running away. He taught them courage. "We must speak Satya and pay the tax; to be afraid of it and run away is simply weakness," He taught them. As He was making them stand firm like this, this Mathew came there, understood all these teachings of Jesus, bowed to Him, and he too became a devotee along with these fishermen. Day by day the influence of Jesus kept growing greatly. This is how it is in all countries: in every matter too, some envious people keep springing up. Some heads of religious seats saw His influence growing, and envy grew strong in them. This is nothing but an incurable disease found in all countries. Building on this, they tried to torment Him in many ways as a traitor to the king. However many ways they tormented Him, He did not stray from the path of Satya, did not leave the path of Dharma, and dedicated His life to the path of Prema alone. He believed Himself to be a messenger sent by God. "I am the messenger of God": this He went on declaring openly as well. "Not I alone. All of you are messengers of God," He said
Every man must believe that in putting on this form and coming into this world, we are nothing but messengers of God. This work does not happen without some reason. This reason is known only to that Doer; others do not understand it. Each and every man must try to offer an ideal life of his own. So every man, in the faith "I am a messenger of God", must try to give this ideal to the world. When one has developed the faith "I am a messenger", one must give up selfishness and self-interest.
