In plain words
It was through those very troubles that He upheld Satya and Dharma and showed an ideal. It was because the Pāṇḍavas went through many troubles that their fame and glory spread through the world. If we want to gain this experience, we must face troubles.
Even sins like mountains are burnt to ash at once by the name of Rāma. This name of Rāma, or any name of God, must not be repeated like some gramophone plate, like a tape record. It must be remembered from the heart. For men to experience a feeling that fulfils their having taken human birth and such divine Avatāras having come in this Bhārata, there must be practice, and they must spread it and teach it. We must remember Him with Prema. It is not possible to attain God by power of intellect, or by cleverness, or by learning, or by positions. He can be attained by Prema alone.
