In plain words
Helping him financially. In Japan they look into these matters very carefully. Why was there such a loss? What is the reason for this loss? They make every effort to prevent it. They help financially and give every encouragement and support to run it again. These are not there in our Bhārata. In keeping with this, if we want to develop some factory, the banks are wholly within the government. For every little matter government permission is needed. This kind of system is wasting away business in Bhārata. There, the company managers come together and form a society. Forming this association, they need not go to the government for these factories; they coordinate among themselves and carry on. They keep these prices well under control too. Here in our Bhārata, how is it? Our business is done largely in black. What is the reason? Because the government is so hard on these people, they develop another kind of cheating to cheat it. Suppose an article costs three thousand rupees. For it, a thousand rupees are taken in black and it is sold for two thousand rupees in white. If it is worth thirty thousand rupees, ten thousand rupees black and twenty thousand rupees white. What reaches the government is only this. It is by such tricks and schemes that our India's business is largely crippled. So in business one must follow the path of Satya.
There was Socrates. He used to follow what is called paripraśna. Paripraśna means putting a question and giving an answer, putting a question and giving an answer. Because it went on like this, the enthusiasm of the young grew greatly. What kind of man should a ruler be? What good qualities should he have? With what good conduct should he behave? With what morality and honesty should he live? What devotion should that king have to God? All matters of this kind he used to enquire into deeply. He said that one who had no faith in God had no right to rule as king. Without fear of sin and love of God, he is no ruler at all. Because he went on spreading these ideas widely through this paripraśna, all the young people came and gathered round him alone. The king became very angry. "The youth should join the army to protect the country, but instead of joining it they are joining this Socrates": so they made a plan to kill Socrates. To the good, things like this always happen. The king's command is a royal command. No one else can change it. So Socrates thought it over. "Only by ill luck has such a king come about. Rather than die at the hands of so wicked a king, it is better to die at the hands of my dear devotees": so he thought.
