In plain words

If we have grown in humanness through this oneness, that itself is eko'haṃ bahu syām. Everything becomes one. We must push aside this thing called Prema for the body and develop Prema for the Ātma. If you take the Ātma as your support, this body too comes under your control. So we must develop the principle of Prema. We must build up faith in God. Only when we develop these two can we experience a new life that is divine. They said, "Life is a game." We must play that game. If you keep thinking "game, game" and do not play, how will it be a game? Only when we play that game will victory come to us. Life is a dream, realise it. Life is Love, enjoy it. This is what we must do. Awareness is life. What is this awareness? To know a little here and there is not awareness. When this is opened out completely and shown, you can say it is a kerchief. If it is all folded up and someone asks what it is, what can you say? A piece of cloth. Knowing a little here and there should not be called awareness. Only after knowing everything is it awareness. Today we do not have the strength and capacity to know everything. We must at least increase the little we have come to know. But we keep reducing it. We are slipping down into narrow feeling. In ancient times there were great kings who enjoyed so many pleasures. There were those who enjoyed so many kinds of wealth and luxury.

Were there not kings? Did they not have kingdoms? Did they not rise to the height of pride? Where are they now? Hariścandra, who ruled the earth steadfast in Satya at all times, did he not have to leave the earth and go? The glorious King Nala, who shone above all the world, did he take the land with him when he went? Māndhātā, who adorned the Kṛta Yuga, did he go away with his riches tied up in a bundle? Śrī Rāma of that age, who bridged the ocean, is He on the earth now? How many, many kings have gone, yet not one of them takes the earth along with him.

Not only in our land of Bhārata. In any land, when a man goes, he does not take even a fistful of earth with him. If people were to take that earth back with them, even earth would be rationed in Bhārata.
